Gotham Knights Prologue

On my YouTube account, I promised that once I was done with the first scene for my long awaited movie, Gotham Knights, I would put the prologue up on the net for a while. Well, I finished it this morning and I think it turned out amazing. What do you guys think? Post a comment below! Click the bat-symbol to watch the video!

Interview With DAK101010

This interview was done with DAK101010 who was nice enough to answer these questions on his own time. Be sure to check out his channel and subscribe!

One of DAK101010's more recent videos: PUNCHING FACE MAN!

1)   What inspired you to start brickfilming?

Well, when I was around 9 years old, I watched a bunch of stop-motion Lego zombie videos (I'm a zombie lover :p) and I wanted to do stuff like that too. So, when I was 10 I got a Youtube account and here I am xD

2) Who is your favorite brickfilmer and what is your favorite brickfilm?
My favorite brickfilmer has to be filmyguy. I just love everything about his brickfilms xD and he has a hilarious sense of humor.

3)   What is your favorite LEGO set?

I'm honestly not that interested in the LEGO toys themselves as much as I am just making videos with them. I don't even know all the different sets there are :p

4)   Did you ever think you would become this popular?

Not really... I'm not really that popular anyway, but when I started, I wasn't thinking about getting fans at all. I just liked the fact that I could create something that entertains others.

5) Does LEGO Stop-Motion influence your social life?

In a way, I guess so since I met people who I am good friends with through it as well as a lot of people I talk to on a regular basis :) Also, people at school are amazed at how I can make Legos move by themselves xD

6) Have you ever had any issues with another YouTuber?

Issues? Not really. I'm not the kind of person to blatantly insult people and get into internet arguments all the time :p I try to be pretty friendly to everyone, which is why I have quite a few friends on Youtube from no subscribers to the tons of thousands of subscribers :) Besides, Youtube is a place to work, have fun, and entertain people, not make enemies.

7) If you could go back to when you began brickfilming would you have changed anything you did on your videos or on YouTube?

YES! I would make my name something WITHOUT all these darn tens! >.<

8) Do you have any tips for aspiring animators?

Yes! Do what you want to do, don't let your audience control you. Also, ease-in and ease-out is one of the most important parts of fluent animation! Learn to use it.

9) What are your plans for the future?

Hopefully I get to be up there with the big Youtube stars one day so I can help others who deserve the same but can't quite get there :)

Superman's Weakness

Sumkid101's new short stop-motion is great. The special effects were spectacular and the voice acting was really good. He also used the new Superman from the 2012 line of Superheroes sets! I hope to see more like this from him in the future! Nice work sumkid101!

Interview With MasonBeiter

One of his films: Lego Agents Mission 5 Part 2

‪1) What inspired you to start brickfilming?

‪What inspired me to start brick filming was robot chicken on Adult Swim. They film with action figures and sometimes legos. I then decided to give it a try.

‪2) Who is your favorite brickfilmer and what is your favorite brickfilm?

‪There are many great brickfilmers out there. It's hard to decide, I'd have to go with Keshen8 because he does many things that most brickfilmers haven't done yet. He makes some of my favorite films to watch such as his Lego Black Ops, Portal, and Middle Man.

‪3) What is your favorite LEGO set?

‪I would have to go with the lego city corner because it makes up as most of the background buildings in most of my films.

‪4) Did you ever think you would become this popular?

‪I'd never thought I'd get this popular on the web. I first started brickfilming as just some thing to keep me busy. But now it's become my own personal hobby.

‪5) Does making LEGO Stop-motion influence in your social life?‬

It has. I made a lego video that teaches kids to save money for a contest hosted by 'Lights Camera Save'. I got in first place in Nationals. I also won a $3000 savings bond and made made an appearance on 'Fox CT. News' A lot of people at my school think that it's a cool hobby that I do. Some of my friends have actually been in several of my videos such as 'Fright Night', 'Meet Da Future', and 'M&C become Superheroes'.

6) Have you ever had any issues with another YouTuber?

‪I've never had an issue with another youtuber. If someone says anything rude to me on my channel, vid, etc. I usually just ignore it.

7) If you could go back to when you began brickfilming would you have changed anything you did on your videos or on youtube?

‪I woud remove copyrighted music from my videos. There are some videos I'd like to summit for revenue sharing, but I can't because youtube might reject it for use copyright music. They also might remove it from youtube if it is serious.

8) Do you have any tips for aspiring animators?

‪Practice makes perfect. Take your time on videos, no one is rushing you.

9) What are your plans for the future?

‪I plan to continue to work on my agents movie for the next several months. But it has been on delay because I need to buy more sets, minifigures, and accessories. Filming for this big project should begin soon.
